It was held at Avery Fischer Hall, Lincoln Center, NY on the 16th of April, 2008. Fortunately, I had the chance to play with the joint-forced Chorale of Rockland and Manhattan campuses with conductors Dr. Sue Talley, Prof. Colin Fowler and Prof. Joel Jameson. He was the winner of International Violin Competition of Indianapolis. Repertoire: Beethoven Violin Sonata no. 1 Bartok Solo Sonata - AMAZING!!!! Intermission Bright Sheng's A Night at the Chinese Opera Brahms Violin Sonata no. 3 with Robert Kulek, collaborative piano encores: Bartok's Romanian Folk Dances Chopin's Nocturne in C# minor Standing Ovation!!! Parang kailan lamang ay naglalakad kami (chu-chu at chino) palabas ng Forbes after ng lesson para kumuha ng taxi pauwi at pabalik ng st.scho ngunit daladala naming tatlo ang mga turo nya, kumbaga, "words of wisdom" sa pagtugtog ng byulin. Walang holi-holidays at walang baka-bakasyon pero worth it naman!!! Kaya malaking pasasalamat ko at kahit sa ilang taon lang naming pagsasama ay marami akong natutunan at im sure ndi lang ako ang maraming natutunan kundi ang lahat pa ng mga kapwa ko musikero na suma-ilalim sa kanya. Itong tugtog ay isang pasasalamat sa lahat ng teachings at memories na iniwan nya sakin.
